Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy describes what Kleverio collects when you use kleverio.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who else sees it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

1. The chat assistant

The chat window on this site is powered by an AI assistant. We store the full text of every conversation, including conversations where you never tell us who you are. We want to be direct about that, because it is the part people are most likely to assume is not happening.

What is stored for each conversation:

  • every message you send and every reply the assistant gives;
  • a random identifier generated in your browser, so the messages in one conversation stay together. It is not linked to your name or to any advertising profile;
  • the time the conversation started and was last active.

If you give the assistant an email address, we additionally create a lead record. That record holds your email address, the name and area of interest our system reads from the conversation, and a copy of the transcript. A notification is emailed to us so a person can follow up.

Your messages are sent to OpenAI. To produce a reply, the conversation is transmitted to OpenAI's API, which processes it and returns an answer. OpenAI acts as our service provider. Please do not type passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, health information, or anything else sensitive into the chat window.

You can clear a conversation at any time using the clear button in the chat window. That removes it from your browser and starts a new conversation identifier. It does not delete what we have already stored — for that, see Your choices.

2. Forms you fill in

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and a message. The newsletter box asks for an email address. Both are delivered to us through Formspree, which passes the submission on by email and keeps a copy in our account there. We use what you send to reply to you, and for the newsletter, to send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.

If you book a call, that is handled by Calendly and is subject to Calendly's own privacy policy. We receive the name, email address and time you provide when booking.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they arrive at the site. It sets cookies in your browser and collects a shortened version of your IP address, your approximate location, and information about your browser and device. We use it in aggregate to decide what to write and what to fix. We do not use it to build advertising profiles and we do not sell it.

You can block this with any browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics, or with Google's own opt-out add-on. The site works normally without it.

Besides analytics cookies, this site stores your language preference, your chat transcript, and your chat conversation identifier locally in your browser. Those never leave your device except as described above, and clearing your browser data removes them.

4. How long we keep things

WhatHow longWhy that long
Chat conversations90 days, then deleted automaticallyLong enough to follow up and to see where the assistant is unhelpful; short enough that we are not holding strangers' conversations indefinitely.
Lead records (you gave us an email address)Until you ask us to delete themThese are people who asked us to get in touch, and we keep a record of that conversation so we can serve you properly.
Contact form and newsletter submissionsUntil you ask us to delete them, or you unsubscribeOngoing correspondence and, for the newsletter, consent you can withdraw.
AnalyticsPer Google Analytics retention settingsAggregate reporting on how the site is used.

The 90-day deletion of conversations is automatic and enforced by our database, not by someone remembering to run it. The 90 days run from the last message in a conversation, so an ongoing conversation is not deleted underneath you.

5. Who else sees your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use the following service providers, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:

ProviderWhat it handles
OpenAIGenerates chat replies. Receives conversation text.
Google Cloud / FirebaseStores conversations and lead records; hosts the chat service.
Google AnalyticsSite usage measurement.
FormspreeDelivers contact form and newsletter submissions.
ResendDelivers our internal notification emails.
CalendlyCall scheduling, if you book one.
VercelHosts this website.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety. Our providers are based in the United States, so if you are contacting us from elsewhere your information is processed there.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email admin@kleverio.com and we will respond within 30 days. To find a specific chat conversation quickly, it helps if you can tell us roughly when it happened and what it was about — we have no way to identify you from a conversation in which you did not give us your details.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR — including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We honour those requests regardless of where you live.

7. Children

This site is intended for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how long we keep it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle chat conversations will be called out here rather than quietly folded in.
